Perth. Again!

We had such a wonderful time in Perth last week. It was the end of Spring and the weather was just amazing. We stayed at The Peninsula in South Perth, which is located across the Swan River. So, you can imagine how magnificent the view was. Read my first experience in South Perth.

We didn't get to do a whole lot of sightseeing because I had to work from 8 to 5 everyday. The company didn't fly my whole family to Perth for nothing! However, we managed to visit the Perth Zoo, which was only a 10-minute walk from our apartment, and did some shopping.

We spent almost every afternoon at the Sir James Mitchell Park, which stretches along the Swan River foreshore. Daanish enjoyed running around playing with his ball, chasing seagulls, and climbing at the playground. Papa and Mama got to do some exercise too!

It was also nice to get to meet Lin's cousin and his wonderful family. Surprisingly, they're staying at the neighboring suburb, which had made things a lot less complicated when we were trying to look for a nanny to babysit Daanish while we're off to a dinner reception that Friday. After leaving him for almost 4 hours, we were surprised to find that he was actually having fun playing with their 2-year-old daughter. Lega.

Our first family trip overseas, a truly unforgettable experience!
