Last night, my wife and I (and Daanish, of course) went to see some friends for
buka puasa at
1Utama. We went there early to avoid the traffic and to look for
baju melayu for Daanish and myself at Jusco. It turned out Jusco has been closed for the past month for renovations and will reopen some time before
Hari Raya. So, we ended up buying nothing. My wife, on the other hand, managed to find herself some nice shoes at
Charles & Keith.
It was nice getting to see some of our close college friends again.
Buka puasa together has always been an annual ritual for us. We were at
Delicious and got the biggest table in the house.
Daia made the reservation for 10 pax and that's the only suitable table they have for 10 pax. With all the noises, we had to literally shout in order to converse with the people across. It was BIG.
My wife had the green curry chicken and I had the Nyonya assam sea bass. The food was just okay. We then had the chocolate fudge birthday cake (bought at Sun Moulin Bakery) for dessert. The night went on with the usual gossips and candids.
All in all, it was a fun night. Wish we could do it more often. See pics
here. Oh, and Ziana Zain was there too
buka puasa with her family.
