When I told the kids we were going to KidZania, they were not looking forward to it because when we went there for the first time last December (during the school holiday), it was 'all queue and no play'. The place was packed!
However, this time, it was different.
I remembered an advice a friend gave me:
"If you're planning to go to KidZania, go during the weekend in the middle of the month. This is the time people don't wanna go because it's the 'dry season'."
We arrived slightly before the place opened and registered for a slot in the high demand activities: McDonald's, fire station, and flight simulator. Daanish enjoyed the flight simulator the most. He even made a friend there.
Ayra was too small to be making a burger at McDonald's and didn't want to do the other two. However, she had a makeover at Kurlz Beauty Salon, learned how to catwalk at Chika's Fashion Boutique, and performed at the Bananana Theatre.
We did almost all the activities and there were no queues at all. We'll definitely return to KidZania to do those that we missed and of course, repeat those that the kids love.
