Anyway, this year is my first raya as a husband and my first raya at a house other than my parents'. It was definitely different. The morning of the first day was raining lightly and the entire family just spent the day chilling at home, eating lemang, ketupat and rendang.
We visited Lin's uncles and aunts in Sungai Siput the next day. Other than the mosquitoes, it was all good. The kampung scene was amazing. I felt like I was in a raya ad.
