Yesterday, we celebrated Daanish's first birthday at McDonald's Kota Damansara. We booked the party room for 1.5 hours and invited a bunch of family members and close friends. The guest list was close to 70 invitees, but thank God, only about half showed up. The room was already crammed!
We thought people wouldn't be eating a whole lot because it was tea time (started at about 4 PM) and everyone would've already had their lunch. We couldn't be more wrong! Multiple times, we had to ask for the fried chickens and nuggets to be topped up. People kept on coming and we couldn't stay put in one place. Daanish, on the other hand was having so much fun in the indoor playground next door, he yelled furiously whenever we pulled him out to meet people.
We were chased out of the room at 5:30 PM because our time was up and they had to prepare for the next party at 6 PM. This is the only reason why we will not hold any party at McDonald's ever again. On the bright side, Daanish received a lot of presents, mainly toys. Some of them aren't even for a 1-year-old!
