Yesterday, we spent the entire day at The Curve. It has been so long, I can't even recall the last time we went out that long.
The intentions of going out were initially to take the car for a wash, to buy a new bedside table lamp at IKEA, and to look for a present for my dad as his birthday is coming up.
We got the car washed. (Yay!) We couldn't find a lamp that we both like at IKEA, so we had lunch at the restaurant instead. (The Swedish meatballs taste so good!) And unfortunately, even after browsing through the entire mall, we couldn't find anything that dad would like either. (Or they don't have anything in his size anymore.)
Weird enough, despite not finding what we were looking for, we still managed to spent over RM1,000 that day! All thanks to a "glimpse" of the suitcases that were on sale at Leather Avenue. We ended up buying three different sizes of hard-case Valentino Creations suitcases and an Esfolar leather handbag. Lin also got herself a neat little gladiator sandal at Vincci.
Actually, hard-case suitcases have been in our shopping list for awhile now and it kinda makes sense to get it now since I'm traveling almost every month. I think we got a great deal on them too. Guess what the retail price of the 20" (the smallest out of the three) suitcase is? RM739! Crazy expensive!
