I need help. Bad. I think I've been sleeping too much lately. No amount of hours can fill my sleep deprivation because no matter how long I've slept during the night, I'll feel sleepy again in a couple of hours after waking up. Sleep is in fact very, very important. Recent studies suggest that less than six hours of sleep can be detrimental to a person's health. The big surprise is that the same study also suggests that sleeping nine or more hours a night can be a danger to your health. Now, don't think these as options because they're not. You should follow these suggestions if you wanna live past 50.
Are you familiar with the story of Meng Qiang of Quianxi County in China who slept as much as NINETEEN hours a day? Well, lemme tell you. He's so famous because he could fall asleep anywhere, even while crossing a busy street, and exhibited all the effects of severe sleep deprivation, and, not incidentally, he also showed all the symptoms of sleep apnea. After his wife left him because of his snoring (and other) problems, he went for a surgery to remove obstructions in the nose and throat area and soon after managed to lose about 20 pounds. (Oh, yeah! He was fat. We're talking 200 pounds, 5.5 feet kinda fat here, people.) He now sleeps only nine or ten hours a day.
